Well, I'm not gonna lie to ya, it hurts to put the Raiders in the top dog position after they beat the Jets in OT this week. It hurts but we must maintain our fashion integrity around here. And honestly, the Jets wearing those green pants, click here well they may as well have been walking onto the field with a "kick me" sign taped to the back of their jerseys. The Silver and Black sport the most terse, cogent powerful uniform in the league. Send up from below by the football gods of the underworld the uniform exceeds the team who wears it these days but even in down years nobody goes to the black hole feeling assured of a win.
Kansas City Chiefs
Over the years this Uni has remained faithful solid. A winner from day one it works on every level. Wearing their home reds in a loss to the steamrolling Titans click here they still looked sharp. No real changes to speak of but thats a great thing when you shouldn't be messin' with a great thing. Nice touch with the yellow sock stripe with white borders. One wish... Bring back that Indian on the horse that would race up and down the sidelines after a touchdown. Ok two wishes. Make the cheerleaders wear sexy Pocahontas outfits.
San Diego Chargers
The Bolts went down to the Bills sporting their standard away configuration.click here. San Diegos re-design is a pet peeve of mine since they were great and the over tweaking went and ruined the whole thing. Will say however that the away uni wears the changes better than the home version and thats the only reason I'm not putting them in the basement where my spiteful streak makes me want to put them. Future plans include calling Chargers management and threatening to hold my breath till I turn blue or till they go to the edit menu and click undo.
The red border at the top of the white oversock is also a nice touch. So all in all I gotta say, I like this uni config more than I thought I would when I first thought of Denver in general. If the Chargers had been in their dark jerseys the Broncs wouldn't be in the basement.
